Subwassertang (Lomariopsis Lineata) is a rarer aquarium moss whose name (Süsswassertang) translates to "freshwater seaweed" in German. It is a free-floating aquatic plant that is well-loved by many aquarium hobbyists as it is easy to care for. Although it is a slow-growing plant, especially in the beginning when it is first added to a tank, once it is established, it will grow to provide natural coverage for fish fry and shrimp. It provides cultivation areas for tiny live food sources such as infusoria and biofilm that dwarf ornamental shrimp enjoy grazing on.
This moss is homegrown in our shrimp tanks!
NOTE: 1 portion is around a 2oz cup portion, which is around the size of 1 golfball
