TROPICAL HOUSE PLANTS

Tropical plants are wonderful as houseplants, with many of them being beneficial to your health since they have the ability to remove toxins from the air and add healthy oxygen. Many of the plants we have in this collection can be grown by tangling their roots directly in the water, in hang-on-the-back filters of aquariums, or land areas of paludariums. They act as a natural filtration for your fish tank by absorbing excess nitrates, nutrients, and heavy metals in the water through their roots, which will also help to reduce algae. Over time some plants might grow long, stringy roots that can act as cover for fish or fry to hide in.
