Description

Anubias Nana Golden (Anubias barteri “Golden nana”) is a rare variant of Anubias barteri that is not often seen in the aquarium hobby. It boasts very bright, lime green leaves rather than the darker green leaves of other Anubias varieties. It is an attractive plant that thrives in all conditions. It grows slowly, and the leaves survive for several years. The best result is achieved by planting on a stone or tree root. If planted on the bottom the rhizome must not be covered because it tends to rot. It can flower underwater and will thrive in shady places, where other plants will not. It is not eaten by herbivorous fish.

NOTE: You will receive 1 Anubias Nana Golden with 4-5+ leaves. The second picture shows the Anubias Nana Golden vs a standard Anubias Nana.

Smaller than expected

The plant arrived healthy with its rhizome intact, but it was much smaller than expected. On the description, it is described as having bright green leaves, but they didn't look as bright as in the photo. I was just disappointed for the price. I think it would be helpful if the photo had an example of what size plant to expect.

Hi Jessica,

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with your portion. The portions are as given to us by our wholesaler and can vary season to season, or even batch to batch, so any pictures used are just to show what the plant may look like and the portions we give are standard portions. We have taken note on your feedback and have updated the pictures to show the portion size a bit more accurately (again, portion size may vary batch to batch and they are not massive portions, they're generally around 4-5 leaves per rhizome, as they are slow growing plants).
