Pistia Stratiotes, AKA Dwarf Water Lettuce as it is commonly called, is a genus of aquatic plant in the arum family, Araceae. The single species it comprises, Pistia stratiotes, is often also called water cabbage, water lettuce, Nile cabbage, or shellflower. It is a more compact version of water lettuce. Like many floating plants, it will provide shade and shelter to the fish living underneath, and will also keep the water clear of algae.

These came in and I was very happy with how they looked. I also received a lot more than I thought I would. The roots were all intact. I am very happy with this purchase. I did get duckweed in with all the purchases I made. I am not upset about it, but just something to expect when ordering. The duckweed came off really easy with some gentle cleaning.
Was whole-heartedly surprised about the plants I got. Basically fully grown with full root systems. Immediately made my tank look amazing. Literally would rather buy from here than my local stores. A few leaves were dying, but that’s to be expected. Also, came earlier than expected

This was my first time purchasing plants for my aquarium online/having them shipped to me in the mail. Even though it's pretty cold out where I live the plants arrived cozy and very well packed. There was a bit of duckweed mixed with them but some easy rinses took care of any debris. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of plants I received and that they were all different sizes! I can't wait to see how they grow in my tank!
