Live plants and animals cannot be returned for a refund as they are live items. If you receive damaged or dead plants or animals, please follow the steps to our DOA (Dead On Arrival) Policy here.
However, if you do purchase something that is not live from us and you would like to return it, provided it is undamaged (meaning that it is in its original condition), and also in its original box/packaging (if it applies), we will happily refund it at your cost of shipping as long as you return it within 14 days after you have received it. In the rare event that an item is damaged during transit and we decide that we would like you to return the item to us, we will pay for shipping. If you are returning an item for any other reason, it is your responsibility to get the item back to us safely. We highly recommend using a tracked service for any returns. We will not accept any undamaged items that become damaged during the return process and will not be liable for any damages to the items that occur during transit.
We will typically credit your account for the cost of the item and let you purchase a replacement item. This follows the same rules as for returned items. If you would like a refund for a returned item a 10% restocking fee might apply. Original shipping costs for an item are strictly non-refundable in any case.
