Piptospatha Ridleyi is a rare plant originating from Borneo that has unique dark green leaves which can develop a light green variegation. It belongs in the same family as Bucephalandras, and like Bucephalandras, it should be planted on a rock or piece of wood with its rhizome exposed to prevent it from rotting. It grows slowly and will thrive in low to moderate light intensity, and can either be grown submerged or emersed. If it is grown emersed, it should be grown in an environment with high humidity.
