Dwarf Hairgrass "Mini", or Eleocharis Acicularis Mini as it is scientifically known, is a great plant for beginners and seasoned aquarium keepers alike. Eleocharis acicularis 'mini' has even lower growth than the common Eleocharis Parvula. It ideally needs moderate to high lighting to perform optimally, however, it can also be grown in low light, but may take longer to grow into a full thick carpet. It requires little maintenance since the leaves remain short, making it a popular choice for nano-aquariums.
