Marsilea Crenata is a species of fern that is native to Australia and Southeast Asia. It a unique plant, as its leaves resemble a four-leaf clover. After a transitional period, it develops generally three, or four-lobed leaves varying in height, depending on the growth conditions. When grown under medium to high light conditions, it stays low growing and spreads horizontally quicker. Under low light conditions, the plant tends to grow higher, losing the desired carpeting effect.
