Littorella Uniflora, also commonly known as “Shoreweed,” is a unique low-growing plant that is native in Europe, North America, and South America. It's an easy beginner-friendly plant that will thrive in "low tech" tank setups and is commonly used as a carpeting plant. However, low light levels will tend to add to the length of its leaves, so if you plan on using it to create a grass-like carpet in the foreground of your aquarium, you should increase the light intensity and plant the individual plantlets further apart from each other to encourage it to spread out quickly.
